The First Quarter Plan for 2007,,

My ISP wouldn't let me use the internet for the past two days so I wasn't able to make an entry on the first day of the year. Oh well, whatever. xD

I shall list some of my more realistic goals on the first quarter of 2007:

- I won't be late anymore. (At least for the three months to come! I've mentioned this before,,)
- I'll get into my college of choice without much trouble.
- I will have this gawd-damned computer reformatted! >8Q
- I shall take my laziness to a minimum.
- Aim high and force my lovely mother to purchase an "mp3 player", I've had enough misfortunes with an iPod but we'll see anyway) or a trustworthy laptop.
- Have a DSL connection
- Draw more! & Find my lost creative juices..? :o

Okay, forget about the "realistic" part but I'll do my best anyway. GO me!

I miss my ol' fangirlish self. It was too much fun being one, I must say. I haven't been giving my fandoms the proper attention they deserve (well, 'cept for SID ;D). I was thinking of getting into Kagrra, and Pierrot (it's really VERY bad that they disbanded! I was in love with their final single, HELLO..) more. I've been listening to a few of their songs up at my computer and I've been thinking that it's time to get that familiar eagerness on Jrock back.

LAWL that sounded retarded but whatever.. One of these days, I'll research on them more. One of these days meaning when my computer stops acting SO hateful. 8DDD

School resumes tomorrow. Tons of schoolwork are waiting for me, I just know it! xP I should be partying or something right now 'cause starting tomorrow, I would most likely be glad to pull all my hair off out of frustration.

If you think you can convince your mother to go a bit higher on price then I suggest the Archos Gmini 402. I don't think it cost me much more than an iPod capable of playing videos would have if I remember correctly. It can play several music filetypes, most graphic filetypes, and the most common video filetypes (but not the type that iPods use? I can't play my converted-for-iPod Miyavi PVs on it.) The screen is incredible to boot. /shameless advertisement

Heheh, good luck with your 'goals' dearest. I'm sure you'll complete most of them.

Right now I'm really fangirlish over Patrick Wolf. He's just so.... sigh. X3 The kind of fangirlism you find in Japanese culture is rare in relation to our own artists here but, really, I'm nuts over the poor guy.
I never could get into Pierrot. I can't put my finger on why, I just didn't click with them. Or something...

Oh, do you have one? I looked it up and it seems good enough. :) Only problem seems to be that it's never meant for sharing, like you can only use earphones and that the screen turns negative when viewed from an undirect angle. I'll take a look at the shops here though. Sounds nifty! :D

Hehe, well that's just how it goes, I suppose. I've listened to a few songs and I can't explain it but, they interest me. They sound quite different from the bands I normally listen to but that just might be me. :o

I do have one, yes. It has served me very well and I can't imagine being without it. It's also a bit like my mobile phone as in no matter how many times I drop it it just keeps on going. XD
The screen can be pretty awkward at times, but I have a pair of small portable speakers that I bought to go with it when I'm with friends. They're teeny and work well enough.

Yeah. X3 I think that's a big factor in the appeal of Japanese music. I find it very liberating to let myself go and fangirl like there's no tomorrow. XD

Wikipedia has him classed as folktronica (wtf is that?) but I don't pay enough attention to genres to know if that's fitting or not. His music isn't very heavy or rock-ish, nor is it pop.
*points to icon* That's him. I fell for his music the first time I saw the video for Tristan on YouTube.

Hm, maybe. Didn't the vocalist of Pierrot start a solo career? He's a beautiful man if I'm thinking of the right one. I swooned on sight.

Hm, that sounds convincing enough. I hope they sell one around here. But it'll probably take a long time of drooling and hoping before I can buy one though. I just had had a lot of stuff bought recently. :o

Folktronica, wtflawl? Sounds interesting, uh-huh. I was asking the genre so that I could get some idea 'bout him. More or like to know if he's a softie pop person or that troubled rock guy or something. 8D I'd look up on him too if I have the time. Thanks for referring~.

Yea, I think he did in fact start a solo career. Name's Kirito, if I'm right. Though from I heard, it wasn't nearly as good as him at Pierrot.. But I haven't listened to his songs yet so I wouldn't know exactly. :O
